Sweet Doraline

love this sweet little Doraline...I bought this image when I attended the York show in October. Prompted me to get the creative juices flowing, how can you not with a face like her?
I coloured her in with my SU! and Tombo markers. The embossed lines are made by running lines on my scor pal :-) so quick and easy! Enjoy!

A Merry Christmas Shimmer~

These papers are so pretty, the red designer sheet is flocked in white...just gorgeous! I used a cardstock sticker from the simply scrappin kit Christmas Jingle and covered the sentiment oval with a little dab of shimmer that goes a long way. It is so much fun to use, paired with taffeta ribbon it makes a stunning combo.

Thank you for visiting and have a great weekend!

My take on Zindorf Courage~

I loved this set when I first spied it in the catalogue along with its matching jumbo wheel, however it took me at least two months til I used it. Feeling uninspired, I looked up SCS and found this tutorial by Michele Zindorf...Wow, her works of art are amazing!
I proceeded to work on my card following her instructions and managed to create an "almost Zindorf". I was quite pleased with myself, although I think I need more practice with the old brayer :)
Thank you for looking!

Fruitcake and Hollies....

These little guys are so adorable with their festive hat and gift~but like I always say, only in animation! I do not care for mice IRL...I happened upon a store that was doing a card swap with "animal christmas" as a theme, well, the rest if history because I made it my mission to make these cards. lol

Decided I love my paper stash and cardmaking goodies again...didn't touch it for sooo long I was starting to wonder if I might ever get back to it again. Gasp...but here I am. Enjoy!!!

Motivet Blog Candy....

These adorable stamps are to be had!! I was hooked when I sat through a colouring session using Dexter making a snowman at the Heirloom Stamp show in York...they are so cute! We all made an adorable card that looked "just like Stephanie's" under careful instruction of her husband and here is the stunning result!! ...ta-da.......
Not only were these cute, the company is located in Canada...all the more reason to show my love and support to "my home and native land..."

Take a peek at all the other beautiful cards on their blog!

Blogger MIA

Hello to all my blogger friends! I still exist in the paper crafting world! Although I must say that I have not had too much time with scrapping creativity! With what I did get completed...here are some stolen moments! :)

This was made with a set from Sweet&Sassy stamps combined with words from CTMH. The image coloured with Copic markers, a new favourite.

And finally...

This card was made with SU's Music expressions! I fell in love with it when it came out in our catalogue and finally got to use it!

All cards made with SU cardstock, designer papers from various companies, Copics, nestabilities, Cuttlebug folders, ribbons, brads and pearls.

I want to hold your hand...

Another cute image from my friend Brandi! She stamped all these Elzybels and they have been the most fun to colour and put together. This one is perfect for Valentine's, although I would be quick to say I didn't colour it in the traditional reds/pinks because I wanted to use my limited supply of copics...silly, I know!

Materials: Elzybel, Basic Gray lilykate, Night of Navy, Sage Shadow, Whisper White CS, MS heart punch, Michaels ribbon.

Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!
