Day 3 ~ Flower Blocks 2

This beautiful wild rose is part of the Flower Blocks 2 and I chose one of the sentiments to compliment my card. The flower is coloured using copics. The ease in colouring/shading this flower makes me want to create all four in varied shades. I embossed a second piece of white cardstock and adhered it onto the base. I mounted the flower block onto white and adhered it with some dimensionals to give it some lift. I used the lacey eyelet border dies to layer my ribbon and give it some grounding. I stamped the sentiment on to vellum and adhered it directly onto the flower with matching brads.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Flower Blocks2
Inks: Memento black, Copics, SU cherry cobbler
Paper: SU cardstock, SU vellum
Accessories: SU embossing folder, SNSS Dies, Brads, Ribbon,
This is the second set in our Flower Blocks series.  These bold and beautiful blooms make the perfect focal image and can be easily paper-pieced or colored.

  • Stamp set includes 4 images and 4 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 6" x 8"
  • The images measure approximately 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
