Be Merry Penguin...

I scanned this little penguin in and he looks totally washed out...been through the mill, I guess! This little guy has been hibernating in my filing cabinet (a permanent cabinet member) for at least six years. You see, I ordered him years ago and lovingly filed him away for a rainy day...Yikes has it been that long??? Now he looks totally washed out. He and his bud the little bear have never seen ink or paper! That is a crime.

I coloured him in with Prisma coloured pencils, using gamsol technique! I love how it turned out!(IRL anyway!) I felt like colouring, even though there are multiple deadlines on the horizon. (...humming jeopardy tune...)

Materials used: Darcie's stamps, Rubberstamp Tapestry Snowflakes, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, White Naturals, Basic Black CardStocks, Patterned paper scrap, Scallop Circle and 1 3/8" circle punches. Not quite Navy, Bordering Blue and Night of Navy Inks.

Tres' Elegant

N'est-ce pas? Totally love this background and you can combine it with any set you want! It also makes a quick and easy card. With the holidays coming, I love quick easy and elegant! I made two different versions using the same sets.

My new favourite background and Ink pad! Is that even possible? evidently...
StampinUP came up with Basic Gray this year and it stamps Gray! Not just a shadow of gray like the "going mousy" gray.

I love the taffeta gray ribbon too. Tie it with pomegranate and you have some delicious colours!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We have so much to be thankful for! Holidays are times I enjoy cooking and preparing a homecooked dinner. Today, we enjoyed Jon's sister and her family, the day was perfect for playing in the park after dinner and enjoying dessert, following.

Thanking StampinUP!

Time well Spent is the name of this cute set! All current demos recieved this set from Shelli this year! How awesome is that?!?

I did manage to trim the set and have yet to ink these babies.'s wishing for the coming weekend.

Thank you Stampin UP for an awesome set! This set will be available in the upcoming catty as a third level hostess set. ;=)

Time to Celebrate!

A quick and easy card for a special birthday! Used a Chocolate Chip base and paired it with Basic Grey cannot go wrong there. Took a Heidi Swapp chipboard clock and added clock hands from my sizzix dies...I have a stash of cardstock words from Wild Asparagus and worked perfectly for a card that needed quick completion.

Procrastination, oish! here is a thought for you, an excerpt from:
The Procrastinator's Creed:

#9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

#10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.

Thank you for bearing with me. :=)
