I began with 9x12 CS and scored at 4" intervals. This created three panels to work with. I then painted the cream paper with Gold glaze.( b/c I didn't have gold paper) I picked out Basic Gray DP from the Scarlett line and cut it down to thirds. I inked the edges with dk. brown chalk inks. The front is layered with a Love sticker from Rusty Pickle.
The centre panel is stamped using Baroque Motif stamp from SU! and took the recipients early picture(from the invitation) and punched it out using the giga scallop punch. Layered it onto misc. sizzix scallops from a trade. :) Layered a sentiment also from Rusty Pickle.
The last panel is layered with DP and stickled with cinnamon!! I created a pocket on the bottom half using a note size envie and adhering flowers and ribbon.
The card is tied using Organdy ribbon.
So much fun to make. Click on the picture to view. :)

love these little mice as long as they remain on rubberstamps :)
They were watercoloured pulling colour off the ink pad lids. Next time, I will use a finer grain paper because the watercolour paper grains were heavy for the fine lines in the image. If any of you have suggestions, feel free to let me know.
Materials Used: House Mouse Sweet Success, Isn't life Sweet?, Junkitz Paper pad Salsa, Stampin'UP ink pads - Pixie pink, green galore, lavendar lace, only orange, so saffron, bashful blue, going gray and close to cocoa. Stampendous class A peels stickers.

Love this stamp set! This is one of three images in the set...cool thing is, they are precut! Just affix to your block and stamp away :) The other two are the holy family and the wise men. On the fourth block you get a cool tag with a flourish...awesome with acetate!
There you have it, today's creation. The deets are in the next picture.
Have a super weekend.
Unbelievably, I was stamping today!!! I cannot remember the last time I stamped for the sake of stamping. Usually it is because I have a project due or a workshop in the works.
Since there were no rules, I used last years Christmas DSP and combined it with a "Blast from the past" suede paper! GASP!!! It really turned out gorgeous IRL, especially after I cuttled it using some of my favourite folders.
Materials List: Holy Tryptic set, Hunter Green Suede paper, Holiday Thyme DSP, Gold Cording, Old Olive & Bravo Burgundy CS, Ticket corner punch. Used Certainly Celery, Going Gray, Old Olive, Blush Blossom, So Saffron and Close to Cocoa inks for watercolouring. :)

Going to Regionals was such a highlight for me! Being a first-timer, I had no idea what to expect with swapping except what I had read on the forums I frequent!
I went with 25 cardfronts and 20 ATC's...wow! you should've seen what the other demo's brought with them!!!
Cardfront materials: Pick a Petal, Baroque Motif & Curvy Verses sets, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant & Naturals White CS, Elegant eggplant ink and White Stazon ink, Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, acetate.
I stamped one of the petals on the acetate using Stazon ink and cut the image to creat a half flower. layered it onto my 1/2 circle and then layered the flower from the motif set onto the centre.
ATC (artist trading card) materials: while this is a rage in stamping circles, the SU! group at Regionals were not into these. Maybe it's one of those fads...
Office Accoutrement set, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green & Naturals Ivory CS, Pumpkin Pie & Garden green inks, Spiral and round tab punches. Crystal effects for added dimension.
