Thinking of you!

Basic Grey PP partnered with Soft Sky Cardstock...yummy. I love the colours together. I added a piece of River Rock that I cuttled using the snowflake folder.

Needed a comforting "Not Stuffy" thinking of you card for a special couple who just lost their father and wanted it to be cheerful and light. I also didn't want to minimize their grief by throwing a Christmas theme so I chose this snowflake paper. The card sparkles and the edges are distressed.

Materials used: Tree from Stampscapes, close as a Memory set, Salutations, Basic Grey PP fruitcake line, Soft Sky, River Rock CS, Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss Inks,
Ice Blue Chalk ink. Cuttlebug Folder Snowflakes.

Different angle of this card...I think I decided I will have to make a photo/light
box for my cards when I take pictures of them. The lighting makes such a difference! As you can see, two photos taken from various light sources give a different look.
Frustrating...natural lighting is best. However, at midnight I will take my chances.

Anyway, from this view you can see the dimensional layers (at least imagine that you do) I also like that you can see the dazzling diamonds on the tree.

Thanks for looking. :=)

SCS get together~Dec 1

Love how one hobby can lead to meeting many new people! Connections, I just love it!
These are some fine stampers I met over the weekend at a local community centre. We made three projects, swapped gifts (alot of fun and laughs) and enjoyed great food.

This photo was hindsight so we didn't catch everyone's smile. (Thanks to StampnQueen for the picture)
