Basic Grey Pop-Up~

Another sample of the pop-up card using Basic Grey 6x6 pad. Instead of stamping the flowers, I dipped into my stash of primas and layered them using brads to hold them together.

I love these downsized Basic Grey paper pads! Perfect for cardmaking and also for mini scrapbook projects:)

Delight in Life

Making this card got me in a stamping frenzy...I was asked to make some samples using these stamps from CCrubberstamps. The two stamps used create a pop-up in the centre of the card when opened. Below you will see the front view of the card.

Here you have the inside version of this pop-up card. I mounted everything on Very Vanilla CS, perhaps you can imagine it if it doesn't show too well...

materials used: CCRubberstamps, SU!Delight in life, SU!Lot's of thoughts, K&Co. Classic K.Bailey Mat Pad, Brown Brads, Lg. and Sm. Oval punches, ticket corner punch, stickles
Thanks for looking!!!! Have a great week♥

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine cards are so much fun to make! I remember the excitement of creating valentines in elementary school...
This one went to my daughter who is away and gave her an early valentine this past weekend. :=) The papers used here are from the Making Memories line "Love Story"
I just love the houndstooth/plaid look of the paper and combined it with the faux postcards. Added some primas, some ribbon and a polka dotted brad, sprayed the card with Radiant Rain Pink Grapefruit! This stuff is alot of fun to work with...afforded by great friends who love to give gift Certificates♥ thanks Rach!

A side view of my card, used a basic grey rubon in the corner and stamped a swirl on the other corner.

Thanks for looking! Have a sweet day today!

Sweet of You ♥ bandaid tin

Another sweet altered project using Ginger blossom for a local stamp store. :)

This little tin is super easy to make and the uses are endless! Recently, I made one for my daughter for her birthday giftcard. You could easily fill it with fun homemade coupons, handstamped tags ready for use, fill it with seasonal candy!

Materials used: Ginger Blossom DSP, Prima flower, Sale-A-Bration So Many Scallops set, Making Memories Large Brad, misc. ribbon pieces for the handle.

Altered - From the Garden...

A close up version of this first level hostess flower stamp. I watercoloured this flower pulling colour from the ink lids with my watercolour brushes. I cut it out with scissors and modge-podged it with the sparkle version...(it was the only one I had available - but don't tell anyone)I thought it turned out beautiful IRL.

Here is the complete version of this tin...I made this as a sample product for a sweet lady selling these tins. I used our pretty Ginger Blossom paper and partnered it with some red velvet May Arts(?) ribbon...please correct me if I'm wrong. I used red-line tape to tape the ribbon around the tin. Next, rubbed some of our beautiful rub-ons on the side and top of the tin. ;=)
I added a hodge-podge of ribbon on the handles and this tin was ready to roll.
There you have it...

Sale-A-Bration rubons...

I added some rubons to the top of the tin...love the ease and simplicity of rubons! I added dots of stickles to the centres of flowers and swirls.

Faith...2008

I took on a word challenge in early January..whadda you know, I finally finished it!
It was fun to do and made me think of words in a new light. The challenge was, pick a word that will define your year. I chose Faith - not because it's new for me but rather I will need to rely on FAITH {not my emotions} this year!

Materials used: SU!2007notations dsp, chocolate chip & wild wasabi CS, hinges and bling flowers by CTMH, Vinyl Thickers, Prima Flower, CB arrow diecut, small oval punch, brads from my collection, hero arts chipboard letter.
