I love you Sweetheart Birgitta ~

Isn't she sweet all decked out in Pink and purple :-)
Recently, I fell prey to this little Swiss Birgitta!!! Isn't she darling? I had fun colouring her! I pulled out the sketch from last week SNSDC challenge for this card. I have not been too motivated lately so I thought the sketch would help me along. It only took me five days to finish it. sigh...
Here you have a close up version of the little one...I love her striped leotards! Reminded me of my girls when they were little.

I used Basic Grey for my papers, coloured everything with Copics and cut out the image using spellbinder dies. Embellishment from Michael's dollar bin - cannot beat that!  Have a great rest of the week :-)

It's A SNSDC8 Sketch challenge~

The end of June challenge is this awesome sketch that Sandy created!!! This was super fun to create. Follow this sketch on the SNSDC blog using only Sweetn'Sassy digi images...

~here is the sketch~

New Creature was my choice this week. I pulled out my favourite bg papers "Indian Summer" and combined them with some punches and embellishments! I layered the butterfly and trailed it with some bling from Prima.
Here you get a closeup version of my card. I bought this MS punch months ago from one of those fashionista stores...and have never used it! wow!! I love it, it's soo..Maxxanista!

As always, upload your creation using the linky tool provided and use keyword SNSDC8 for online galleries.

All about Summer ~ SNSDC7

Summer kicked off on Memorial Day for many but it officially begins on Tuesday according to the Gregorian Calendar we all follow. To help kick Summer into full gear the Sweet n' Sassy Digi Team is challenging you to make a card "All About Summer"
An image from Peaceful Swans provokes me to think of summer days watching these birds on a pond...ahhh. The serene image produces hope and faith in something bigger than what we actually look at. So I pieced two stamps together to form my sentiment...Embrace Hope from the Encouragement scripture set.
I pulled out my papers from October Afternoon to complete this card, these papers offer fun colour combinations. I coloured my swan with copics and embellished with ribbon, lace and jute topped off with a pearl. The swan is die cut using my spellbinder die labels four.

As always, please use SweetnSassy digi images for your creations to play along...upload your card over at SNSDC blog and use keyword snsdc7 when uploading to an online gallery. See you all there!!! Have a great day!

Happy Father's Day ~SNSDC6

A closeup of this adorable little puppy begging to go fishing! His little fishing hat is complete with hooks and sinkers(?)
He seemed rather fitting for this week's Father's Day Challenge on Sweetn'Sassydigi challenge blog. You can find him here where you will also find sentiments perfect for dad's special day!
I pulled out my Echo Park papers again for this weeks challenge! They are perfect for these masculine cards. For a fun detail, I added this little button with some fine jute. I had to keep myself from adding ribbon here or there. So I settled for this twiny string to hold the little bone. Using another favourite, the spellbinders labels nine was a right fit for this
image. I coloured the puppy using copics :-)
Join us in our challenge over at SNSDC6 and be sure to link your project with the provided linky tool. Play every week this month to qualify for some free digis!!! You must use Sweet'nSassy Images to play along. If you are linking to an online gallery, be sure to use keyword SNSDC6.

Anything but a Card ~ SNSDC5

It is Friday and we are in June already!!! Where does the time go? That means the Digi design team have a new challenge for you...Our theme this week is "anything but a card" We all love options and this one truly gives you that. For my "Anything" project, I made this post-it note chipboard cover.

I used Fenton Frog for my image! Isn't he cute? He is holding a sign that says "take note" in my handwriting to fit my project. I coloured Fenton with copics and used a variety of Echo Park's Little Boy line of paper.
Here you have a closeup of the darling frog...ackkk!! did I just call him darling?? On paper he looks harmless enough. I love my bind it all when I have the opportunity to use it...I used the wavy MS punch for the bottom layer to similate water.

As always, link your project to the SNSDC blog at the end of the challenge post using the linky tool provided. If you use online galleries use keyword SNSDC5.

Thank you for visiting! I look forward to seeing your creation!! enjoy your weekend.
