You are Treasured~

stamps: treasured, music bg
papers: SU everyday enchantment, SU
inks: memento, copics, versafine, distress ink
accessories: spellbinder die, SU punch, SU twine, pearls

Good morning everyone! I have not been creating the last week and a half. I was visiting my parents in Canada! I am so grateful for the opportunity to see my parents and spend some time with them. I treasure these moments I have with them.

I created this card from the April release called Treasured. Isn't it beautiful? I coupled it with the music background that was released earlier this month. I love how it gives it a soft background. I fussy cut around the whole image and layered it on top of the base. Each petal and butterfly wings are curled to give it dimension. Thank you for joining me!

Enjoy your weekend!

Mostly White Challenge SCS

stamps: wedding collage
papers: SU, bazzil
inks: memento, copics, versafine
accessories: CB folder, SNSS die, CheeryLynn die, lace, seam binding
Did I say I love this latest set from Sweet'nSassy? It comes with nine sentiments!!! You cannot beat that with this gorgeous collage design retailing for only $15. That is not all, you can purchase the whole release and be eligible to recieve a stamp set of your choice shown on the website. YAY!!!

My card is submitted for Korin's Humpday Challenge #38 on the member's forum. Join us each week for a creative challenge and get inspired! So I couldn't help but grab this newly released set that is proving to be a favourite already among SNSS fans.

I used my new italian doily die from Cheery Lynn. Sistah Diva Cathy McCauley blessed me with this die...She is such a sweetheart. I cut off a portion for my card. My cardbase has a shimmer perfect for this card. I embossed another layer to match the script on the collage. The lace and seam binding (you can hardly see it) is also a gift from Cathy. Told you she is a sweetie, she's spoiling me. I ruffled the lace using scor-tape and added some pearls that I coloured using copics to match the background shadowing. For my sentiment, I die cut the heart from SNSS and stamped my sentiment on it. Sweet, huh?

Now remember the FREE stamp choices I mentioned?

Sweet'nSassy May Release Bloghop

Another month, another fabulous release from Sweet n Sassy! This month we have a lineup of fun, elegant and vintage! Keep your eyes peeled for the full release tonight over at Splitcoaststampers Members Forum at 8pm EST.
You should have arrived from Kim Schofield's blog :-)

Now onto my cards...I am featuring this darling little puppy Gone Fishing. He is stamped using memento and coloured with copics. I sponged around the image using dye inks and cut  him out with spellbinder dies. I paired him up with Echo Parks fun paper pack. I layered my pieces and sewed the edges. The sentiment is stamped onto SNSS cloud dies.

stamps: Gone Fishing
Papers: EP
Inks: copics, memento, SU
Accessories: Spellbinder die, SNSS die, ribbon, sewing, paper piercing
My next card features the Music background illustrated by dKdesigns. I paired it with the Wedding Collage by Korin. I love, love these sets!!! They were meant for each other. I stamped the bg directly on the designer paper and distressed the edges before I stitched them onto the base. The collage is stamped using memento ink and coloured with copics. I layered a second image of the blissful couple to give them some dimension. The flowers were created by hand attached them to the flourish die.
