It's a Daisy Kind of Day ~

If you are looking for the Heartfelt Creations submissions that won me a semi-finalist spot, you can view them here. When you are done, you have opportunity to win $50 gift card to Heartfelt after you have voted for your five favourite semi-finalists!! Be sure to go and submit your vote.
These daisy flowers are so fun to create. The flowers were stamped on two different shades of coloured cardstock and die cut using the matching dies. I layered the shaped flowers onto the daisy patch swirls that was stamped and coloured using Copic markers. The centres are filled with pearls and crystal lacquer to give it a drenching look. I added the corner die from the butterfly border die set for extra design on the bottom of the panel. A line of petite rhinestones were coloured using copics to match my colour scheme and adhered to the stamped panel.

Heartfelt Creations ~

I am quite excited after being notified that I was chosen as a semifinalist in my submission for the DT call by Heartfelt Creations. Their Design Team does fabulous work and it is quite humbling to try out for the final run. Thank you Heartfelt! Take a look at some of the cards I made using their products.

Shabby Chic lace is embossed in white on Kraft CS. Poinsettia spray is stamped using memento ink and coloured using copics. The spray was fussy cut to create a corner spray. The poinsettias are cut using spellbinder dies and shaped by using the paper blossoms tool and mat. The birdhouse is die cut after colouring the image using copics. The bird is hand cut and placed on the birdhouse. Finally, I arranged all the pieces so that the shabby lace became the background for the card. Card is regular A2 size.

Accessories: paper blossoms tool and mat
other: rhinestones, SU Cardstock, copics, memento ink

Palace entry is stamped with memento ink and coloured using Copics. The entry is hand cut and layered onto black cs. The elegant swirl spray is stamped onto the frosty blanket paper to frame the palace entry image. The iron gate is cut open to the hinges to create a 3d effect on the entry. Bella Rose die was cut on black cs to create a vine on the side of the entry. The candle stick was stamped and die cut on Gray CS while the lamp was stamped using memento and coloured with copics. Both pieces are layered with dimensional tape and adhered onto the side of entryway. Rhinestones were added for embellishment. This card is 5.5 x 5.5 inch square.
Paper: Frosty blanket collection
other: rhinestones, SU cardstock, copics, memento ink
Bird haven is stamped using memento ink and coloured using copics. The roses were fussy cut so the birdhouse could be inserted for a dimensional look. Bella Rose die is used to create framed vines around the roses and birdhouse. The sentiment is stamped and heat set onto vellum that is hand trimmed to create a banner. Dewdrops were added for embellishment. The card is regular A2 size.
dies: HCD712 Bella Rose
other: MME paper, SU cardstock, dewdrops, vellum, memento ink, copics

Bridge of Hope ~

stamps: Bridge of Hope dKdesigns
This beautiful design created by Dina Kowal is available in the SNSS...I especially love the sentiments, the scripture and the hymn by Horatio Spafford. All this combines with this bridge aptly  named Bridge of Hope!
I stamped this scene and coloured it using my copics. I love the finished look, colouring scenery can be intimidating for me...The sentiment is perfect for friends who are going through some diffulties.

Have a wonderful Weekend!!!

Praise the Lord ~

stamps: Praise the Lord
Love this set from Sweetn'Sassy! Aptly named Praise the Lord...the beauty of this set along with the scripture that comes with it is truly reason to Praise Him. The blossoms you see on the corner are from the Kindness die set, also from SNSS. It makes my little heart happy when I can pull different things together and they look like they were meant for each other!

I was taking "inventory" recently on my scripture sets and didn't realize I had purchased this gals don't do that do you? wink, wink! You can imagine my delight when I discovered I owned this set. I have been making fall cards and using seasonal colours that I felt the need to change it up a little. Thus, this beautiful set!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Take Time to sit and Watch ~

Love this Leaf from Season of Change set that I paired with one of the quotes from Autumn Collage. It was quick to die cut one of the leaves and stamp over it with the matching image using a variety of ink colours to create a fall coloured leaf. The quote is framed with the Decorative Toppers that fit the Decorative Plaque dies very nicely.  I ran the card base using TH embossing folder.

My Christmas Card is created using the Freebie from SNSS in July with a qualifying purchase! Love how this card turned out. I layered it onto spellbinder oval lacey die. This Candle image is coloured using Copics and sponged using SU inks.

A little bit of Christmas ~

Stamps: SNSS Christmas Light with dies
I spent some time colouring some images this past weekend. Who doesn't love beautiful Christmas images to get our creativity flowing? This first card features the Christmas Light from SweetnSassy courtesy of dKdesigns. The matching die is perfect for quick and easy card making.
stamps: Heartfelt Creations Poinsettia Sprays
The second card features a new favourite from Heartfelt Designs. I quickly paired it with a stencil from Crafters' Workshop that created instant design on the Old Olive cardstock. Tada!!

Have a great week!
