Merry Christmas ~

Merry Christmas to Everyone and May God bless us All! I have a very simple card for you today. I have to confess that I made this a few months ago when this set was to be released. I was on a CAS kick and trying my best to create a card that I thought fit the bill.

The card is created on a white base that has been scored at 1" all around the card and then another scored line at 1/8" from the first line. It gave me a clean frame to work from. I stamped the sentiment from the Seek Him Still set and die cut it using the Decorative Plaque dies. This was sponged in yellow and finally stamped the star over the top right corner. I added glitter for some dimension.

Enjoy your holidays with Family, Friends and take time to give thanks for the divine Love born for us in human form and seek Him with your heart, mind and soul.

Materials used:
stamps: Seek Him still
Inks: SU colours, Versafine
Paper: SU whisper white

A Beautiful Heartfelt Day ~

It is Heartfelt Wednesday! I love the variety of creative styles each designer brings each week! Be sure to head on over and see all that the DT have for you this week! While you're there, check out the limited edition offerings! Once they are gone on December 31st, they are gone. My first ever set from Heartfelt are the Flora Grande 1&2...I guess all great stamps come to their final run.

This week, I am using the beautiful Asters Collection papers and matching stamps and dies! Love, love this set. I combined it with the beautifully scripted heartfelt expressions.

Fold cardstock in half and score. Cut down your patterned paper to leave a 1/16” margin around the perimetre. Cut a length of ribbon for your desired bow size, position and place between card base and patterned paper. Adhere the paper onto the base.  Let the tails hang off to the side. Stamp Asters onto coloured card stock and die cut using matching dies. Build your flower as desired and adhere to the card base. Stamp sentiment onto one of the journal cards, trim and place onto your card. Add pearls for embellishment if desired. Finish your bow and trim tails.

Merry Christmas Poinsettia ~

Good morning! Love this time of year, the crisp mornings and the scent of pine in the living room with glistening lights and coffee in my hand. I have a Christmas card for you today. I love the layers in this beautiful flower.

This poinsettia takes it all, in my opinion! I love the ease in which we can colour this and cutting it out by hand was quick. The flower is coloured using copic markers and paired with MME paper. The fish tail banners are hand cut.

As we prepare for the Christmas Season, let us always remember the divine love birthed on our behalf. I love the variety of Christmas stamps SNSS has in the store. Check them out for your gift giving and gift creating. Have fun!

Supplies used:
Stamp: poinsettia
Inks: Copics, memento ink, versafine black
Paper: MME, SU

Heartfelt Wednesday ~

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a Happy Wednesday! Today, I want to share a little project I created from the Timeless Amour die...I cut several pieces from this die and glued them together after scoring them in half. I added some pearls and beads and created an ornament!!! Love the elegance of this die.
A closeup of the ornament, You can see the sparkles I placed and adhered on the swirls of the die. These little sparkles were the perfect size!
I love this little truck! I coloured it using copics and chose colours to fit my colour scheme. I love red antique trucks. I die cut this using a matching die. The truck door swings on its own, cut when you run it through a machine.
Finally, a closeup view of the card. Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Blog to see the other projects made by the Design Team. There are more details available to the card and ornament I created on this blog.
