SNSS April Release Day 3 Bloghop ~

Welcome to day #3 of our April release features!
Today's feature is my favorite of our April release.  I just love poppies AND large flower images!! :)
  • Stamp set includes 3 images and 17 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 8" x 6"
  • The large group of poppies measures approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/8"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set is priced at $26
  • Includes 1 large image
  • Measures approximately 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set is priced at $15
My card shows off both new sets on my card. I chose the Poppies Background as my main feature. I stamped it three times on the designer paper using memento black and shaded it using copics. To create the card I cut my designer paper to 5x5 and stamped the bigger image of the perfect poppies on the right side of my base. I shaded the flowers using a lighter version of copics to match the main flower. I adhered this onto early espresso cardstock and then adhered it to the 5.5x5.5" green base.I layered the main flower using dimensionals and cut the petals apart to lift them for a dimesional effect.
Materials list:
stamps: Poppies background, Perfect Poppies
paper: CTMH designer paper, SU cardstock
Inks: memento ink black, copics: R05,R02,R00,0
Accessories: dew drops, dimensional

  19. Last, but not at all least! This card is outstanding using both the poppy images on one card. The one used as a background and the other as the focal point with dimensionals to set it off with reattaching the petals. Who would have thought of that.
