This card features His Child set designed by DKDesigns. I love the scripture and inspirational sentiments in this set, it was hard to choose! Psalm 16 happens to be a favourite so I went with the scripture and this image of that shouts Joy! I sponged the reverse image of an oval die cut with powder puff inks. I stamped the the solid image in versafine black and stamped the sentiment off the oval. I chose spellbinder labels 13 to cut out the image and layered it on to my card base prepared with embossing. I ran ribbon through a slit punch and tied it off on the right hand side. I added small pearls as an additional embellishment.
Materials Used:
Stamps: His Child
Inks: Quick Quotes powder puff inks, Versafine black ink
Paper: SU card stock
Accessories: pearls, spellbinder dies
Mini tags and sentiments card is used with His Child set. I love the multiple words that you can create on the tags. This card says everything along with the inspirational sentiment from Hannah Whitall Smith. To believe this takes childlike faith and the freedom that comes from doing so is a huge blessing! Just because He loves me!
Materials list:
Stamps: His Child, Mini Tags and sentiments
Inks: Versafine black, SU Kiwi Kiss
Papers: MME, SU
Accessories: Twine, pearls, SNSS Mini Tags Die

  5. Beautiful cards!!! The sponged colors on your first card is stunning and I do love that silhouette with that scripture! Love what you did with the tags on the upper part of the card. Sponged in negative space? There is probably a proper word for it but it looks awesome!
