Peaceful Wishes for all in the coming Year! I love the nostalgic feel of the Winter Silhouettes designed by DKdesigns. I combined it with the Hillside edges die to create this wintry skating scene of yesteryear. To give the snowy hillsides some depth, I sponged the edges. The title is pulled from Vintage Ornaments. To finish the card with a bit of sparkle, I pulled out my mini rhinestones from CTMH.

See you all in the New Year! Sweetn'Sassy Stamps has great things in store for the coming year!
Materials Used:
Stamps: Winter Silhouettes, Vintage Ornaments
Paper: SU, MME

SNSS Blessing Wreath ~

Good morning Sweet'nSassy friends and fans! Today, I am sharing a very simple card combining different dies and actually coloured a wreath! That is a huge plus for me. My life has been overrun with life.

My card features the recently released Hillside Edges Die (can we say, oh so cute!!!) combined with Seasonal Wreaths and matching dies. While I didn't think these two went together, I talked myself into thinking that they looked like the Dickens village that people place on mantels or tree skirts. So, why not? lol.

SNSS is having a Black Friday Sale!!!! Who doesn't love a great sale? Be sure to check out the online store first thing Friday!
Materials Used:
Stamps: Seasonal Wreaths
Inks: Tombow markers, Versafine ink, QQ powder puff inks
Paper: SU
Accessories: SNSS Dies, SU punch, dimensional tape

SNSS November Release Day Bloghop~

Welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps  November 2014 Release Day!
My card uses the bare tree die and the Scripture & Sentiment companions. The "leaves" beneath the tree are glitter and prills I sprinkled over some dries clear glue. The sentiment is stamped in black versafine ink. To finish off the card, I scored 1/4 inch from the edges. Finally, I added some pearls on the upper corner. (I apologize for the bad lighting)
This little purse is not my idea but one I cased from Pinterest by Inking Idaho I am in the midst of planning a fundraiser crop and this idea came in handy after a different (failed effort) for some favours. I added the Sweet word and heart from Baked for You set. Isn't is sweet?
Finally, a card I shared earlier this week. I used the new Birthday Word die and the Companion Words set. I love the different fonts and uses you can get out of this set.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Companion Words, Scripture & Sentiments, Baked for You
Inks: Versafine black, SU Early Espresso, Copics, QQ powder puff inks

The second card is using the falling leaves stamp set with the Forest silhouette dies! I love the look of these images against the sponged background. For the "floor" I sprinkled some stampendous embossing fragments, tinsel and powders and melted them all together. I adhered the deer to the floor with the leaves falling gently. So serene.

Have a wonderful Day!

SNSS Kindness ~

 photo SNSSKindnessSept3.jpg
Good morning Sweet'nSassy fans! My card uses Kindness set with matching dies. I loved the Stamp Etching tutorial featured on Splitcoaststampers and have wanted to give this a shot with some of these lovely flowers. What do you think? Why not give it a try?

I "etched" the blooms using fine line marker after I die cut them. Next I snipped them further into the centres and shaped them using my flower molding mat and stylus tools. I layered some and left some as is. Each centre is filled by adhering sequins that I got from my CTMH friend and consultant Krista. The leaves are a sneak peek from the upcoming Sept. release.

Materials used:
Stamps: Kindness
Paper: SU, Little Yellow Bicycle
Inks: Versafine black, SU fine tip marker
Accessories: Kindness Flower/Clover dies, Leaf silhouette dies, CTMH sequins, molding mat and tool kit.

Yes - Jesus Loves Me

Aunt Nancy - mother of my heart. She never spoke a word of English as I grew up in her home yet in her final years, learned to sing Jesus Loves Me in word perfect English. This song would become her hope and joy as she released it to whomever would pause and listen. "Unless you become like little children" are the words of Jesus in Matthew 18 and in the isolation of memory loss and Alzheimer's, my beautiful aunt found solace in a simple song of declaration. Yes, Jesus Loves Me.

I miss you dear mother of my heart.
