Two days before Mother's Day, our dear mother entered into her eternal home. She lived a life filled with hard work, serving her people with devotion and love..."Mother Theresa of her people" these were the words I heard during her viewing, memorial and funeral.
~Reverend Sarah Sakchekapo~
She left us so quickly. My heart aches but she is forever at rest and united with her beloved and loved ones.

I am so blessed to have called you Mother. You live on with all that you imparted to us. I love you, NiiMama.

Heartfelt Creations May Alumni DT Bloghop ~

Hello Heartfelt Creations fans! We are kicking off this final week of May with a bloghop from the Alumni DT. All comments close on Fri. May 30th at midnight. Be sure to leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win a fabulous prize from Heartfelt.  The winner receives $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations. The winner will need to email Emma Lou with "Winner of May Alumni Hop" in subject line.

My card is fairly simple. I stamped Petite Floral Swirls in Old Olive directly on patterned paper. The flowers are coloured in quickly using chalks. To give my card some dimension, I shaped two smaller flowers from the Posy Patch set, the centres are filled using Prills and highlighted with chalk. The Burnished key set is my feature cut out using the matching burnished key die. Each is coloured using quick quotes powder puff ink and layered one of the decorative metal fixtures piece. The sentiment is from the Inspire me sentiments set.
Materials used:
Stamps: Petite Floral Swirls, Posy Patch, Burnished Key, Inspire Me Sentiments
Inks: SU Old Olive, Chalks, QQ powder Puff Biscotti
Paper: SU, Authentique
Accessories: Prills, HC Burnished Key die, HC Decorative Metal Fixtures die, Posy Patch die

SNSS Thankful For You~

So thankful for all the Servicemen and women in the Armed Forces on this Memorial Day. We remember the Fallen and the families left behind. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

My card uses the recently released You're a Star and used the matching stars die to create my layers of stars. To create the border I used the stars border from the hearts and stars border dies and layered it on the scallop border die. The background is embossed using provocrafts CB folder. The sentiment is from the Flower Blocks2 set and the banner is trimmed and cut by hand.

Materials Used:
Stamps: You're a Star, Flower Blocks2
Inks: SU Not quite Navy
Paper: Miscellaneous DP, SU
Accessories: CB folder, SNSS Dies - Stars, hearts and borders, scallop border

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful Holiday.
