SNSS Winnie's Warm Wishes ~

Good morning! Winnie's Warm Wishes was released this past winter but now comes with a new die! You can preorder your own die over at Sweet'nSassy's Sweet Perks Club latest release.

I coloured Winnie with my tombows and she is layered onto Decorative Plaques die set. I have been taking cues from Cathymac with her fabulous stitched cards and so I gave it a try. It was fun and didn't turn out too bad. I embellished with seam binding ribbon and tucked the hearts border die along the edge. The sentiment is stamped and oval punched and sponged.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Winnie's Warm Wishes
Inks: tombows, Archival ink, SU, QQ powder puff
Paper: SU, MME
Accessories: Ribbon, SNSS dies - hearts and stars border, decorative plaques, SU oval punch

SNSS - Joy to the World

Good morning Sweet'nSassy friends! Joy to the World was released earlier this month and I love the simplicity of this image with the clean lines and plenty of colouring options! I left my colouring light and airy instead of the usual Christmas colours. I wonder if Mary would've had opportunity to send birth announcements, what colours would she have chosen? Red and Green or perhaps the customary "it's a boy" colour palette.

I coloured my images using, you guessed it... Tombows on mixed media paper! I highlighted the letters with a fine point white sharpie. The letters reminded me of the bubble letters my high school friends and I use to create.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Joy to the World
Paper: Mixed media, MME
Inks: Ranger archival ink, Tombows, white sharpie
Accessories: seam binding ribbon, dimensionals,

SNSS Joy to the World ~

Good morning! Sweet'nSassy's latest release had everything to do with adorable, majestic and full of wonder as we anticipate Christmas. This image from Joy to the World is nothing short of precious! Diane Zechman illustrated these images and captured the essence of why we celebrate the Advent.

I coloured the manger scene with tombows on mixed media paper and fussy cut to layer onto my fishtail banner. The paper ribbon is created from the Bookmarks and More dies. Finally, I embellished with a few pearls along the bottom of the banner to balance my card.

I hope you will be inspired to create your own card for the Holidays!

Materials Used:
Stamps: Joy to the world
Paper: mixed media, SU, Basic Grey
Inks: Archival black ink, SU early espresso, Tombow markers
